Killdeer, mule deer

Grateful today to take part in the Hum Coast Snapshot Bioblitz that helps research scientists keep track of species along this edge of the coast. Just taking pictures and uploading them to the iNaturalist app from now through the end of August: that fun work of love magically helps the coast, the species, you, me, us. Simple as A to Z: Asters, bull thistles, crabs, eagles, ferns, gumboot chitons, hedgenettles, ice plants, junipers, killdeer, mule deer, nests, octopi, quail, sea lions, tegulas, vinca, willows, yarrow and ... I’ve left some out for you to fill in.
