Virtually virtual

What’s the difference between literal (actual) and literal (not actual but metaphorical), as in “The Wicked Witch of the West collapsed in a literal meltdown, and Dorothy literally collapsed in shock”), and between virtual (true) and virtual (almost) and virtual (online), as in “We are virtually—no, virtually virtually, living a virtual reality game right now,” and between facetime (being together) and FaceTime (not)?
